My favourite foundations

I’ve always get asked alot about what foundation i’m wearing. Well this is all the foundations I own and they’re all my favourite but I do love some more than the other. I have them lined up from my most favourite to my least favourite. 

My #1 fav is : Kat Von D . She’s full coverage , matte , last all day and you don’t need a lot . I get the most complements when I wear this foundation ,it looks so airbrush on my skin, it’s Humanity and transfer resistant. My skin type is dry and normally you can’t wear matte foundation because it would be too drying for your skin , which is understandable  but most full coverage foundations are matte . So for me to wear this foundation I just prep my skin right . I make sure I moisturize my skin and use a hydrating or luminous/radiant primer. I only wear this foundation whenever I’m going out for a long period for time, it’s not an everyday foundation ( you can diluted it with moisturizer ,illuminator or a radiant primer if you want to wear it every day and doing that will not disturb the longevity of the foundation) I give this foundation a 10/10 😁. Btw this is my third bottle 😉

 MY SHADE - DEEP 78

My #2 Fav is : MAC prolong-wear nourishing waterproof foundation. Damm that’s long 😂. 

This is my second favourite and I get a lot of complements as well when I’m wearing it but not as much as the kat von d . One of my co-worker loved how it looks on my skin and bought one for her self .  If you have hyperpigmentation spot conceal first. It’s medium to full coverage ,last long as well and it has a semi radiant finish . Because it’s waterproof it stain some of my brushes and it’s best to remove with an oil cleanser at the end of your day . 

This is my everyday foundation for the summer . I give this a 9.5/10. PS, this is my third bottle as well 😁

MY SHADE - NC 50

My third fav is : Nars radiant long wear foundation. This is my winter foundation I wear it every day I get few complements when I wear it but I love is soo much it makes my skin look youthful and gives a glow within . The only problem I have is that It’s easy to transfer and you have to set this foundation with a translucent powder . I don’t like setting my foundations and that’s because I’m so use to wearing matte foundations that I don’t need to set my skin . The coverage is medium to full. I give this a 9/10 😁

MY SHADE - NEW CALEDONIA

My fourth fav is : Huda beauty fauxfilter full coverage foundation. Now this foundation right here is no joke . It’s even more full coverage than the Katvon D and it’s humidity resistant and transfer resistant. I put this  foundation on my friend for caribana and this girl come back home  still looking flawless , I could not believe. She loved it so much that she went and bought it. This foundation is definitely not a everyday foundation , but if you  want to wear it everyday you can simple Dilute this foundation with your favourite moisturizer or illuminator /radiant primer ( doing so will not disturb the staying Power of the foundation) I give this foundation a 9/10 😊

MY SHADE - MOCHA

Next up I have is: MAC studio fix fluid foundation. Everybody and their granny knows about this foundation . It’s an oldie but an goodie . My grandmother was the one that made me start using this foundation . She talks about it so much . It’s a nice medium to full coverage foundation ,it looks beautiful on the skin . The only problem I have is that is transfers and it is not humidity resistant , and it looks cakey when you try to build it up . This foundation would legit melt off your face if you don’t set it properly. I give this a 7/10 ☺️

MY SHADE - NC55

My last fav is : MAC next to nothing face colour. The name said it all . I wear this foundation on my no makeup makeup days. It’s so light and refreshing on the skin. Very natural glow within look . When I wear this foundation people actually think I’m not wearing foundation and how beautiful my skin looks . I give this foundation a 7/10 🙂
